HP's Ipaq PocketPC 2003 SE problem Remember when these little machines were the biggest thing ever.... HP killed themselves with the poor customer service which today has made them the least company you would buy a computer from. Remember Packard Bell? The problem with HP's decision is they let us all upgrade to pocket pc 2003 earlier in 2004. Now Microsoft finally comes out with hard fixes for that O/S and HP decides not to let us get it. HP has lost me as a customer of future technology but I am hoping I can at least help get them to change there mind. Also Microsoft needs to change their system of updates. They should directly give us pocketpc updates like they do in Windows updates. Leaving it up to the manufacturer looks like a big mistake. UPDATE. The CEO was removed but the company still does not take care of existing customers. They are only looking for new ones and new money.
Edit: I wrote this many years ago. Things have changed in the mobile world. Not only do handheld computers do so much more, they are a cell phone too. Apple learned much watching Microsoft and the handheld/cell phone market. Updates, better hardware, and a better overall experience. Microsoft didn't care, now they are nothing in the handheld computer market now. They are trying to play catch up to an industry they were leaders in but they already lost their reputation. Hp is in the same boat.
